Does one ticket get entry to all shows and venues?
Yes, you will exchange your ticket for a wristband on the day (location to come nearer the time) and then it’s first-come, first-served into all venues.
What times do the venues run from?
We will be uploading the artist stage times nearer the time, but rest assured there will be a minimum of two stages from 1pm until approx. 5pm, and then several stages will be open for the rest of the festival!
Are children allowed to the festival?
Yes, during the day children are more than welcome but please note that SHAKE THE HIGH ROAD is not an event designed specifically for children so please ensure they are not causing issues to other patrons and staying quiet (where possible!) during performances that require a respectful atmosphere. Each venue will have a curfew on when under 18s will have to leave and we shall be confirming this nearer the time and posting here, but we estimate around 9pm for most venues.
ST JOHN’S CHURCH – Under 18’s are able to visit, provided they’re accompanied by an adult.
LEYTONSTONE SOCIAL – Under 18’s welcome provided they’re accompanied by an adult. Under 13’s not allowed on dancefloor after 9pm.
LUNA – Under 18’s are able to visit until 11pm, provided they’re accompanied by an adult.
RED LION (LION’S DEN) – Under 18’s aren’t able to visit – this is a nighttime venue.
Can I DJ or my band play the festival?
We are fairly jam packed already as you can see from the schedule but drop us an email at info@shakethehighroad.com and we’ll certainly have a listen and see what’s possible!
How does entry to the launch party work?
Our launch party will be hosted in the days leading up the festival at Good Shepherd Studios on Wednesday 1 May and will be free to all ticket holders (first-come, first served). This will run from 6pm to 10pm and we will post up details of this in the coming weeks.
