Her award-winning memoir ‘𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘊𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥: 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘤 𝘚𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘔𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘚𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴’ is one of the finest books of recent years, firstly detailing her childhood of extremes, from privileged glamour to parental neglect and an abusive family presence, before vividly recalling the wild years forming Lush and their rise to fame in the Britpop era. It’s all told with wry humour and emotional honesty by a trailblazing woman, and Miki will be in conversation with our good friends at Walthamstow Rock ‘n’ Roll Book Club at 6.30pm at Luna (Basement).
